As great as they’ve played, they haven’t been able to close out games against the Thunder, and I feel like they’re too good a team to let these games go.
BQ: At 2-0, do the Mavs still have a chance to take the series back?

Christian – DTT:It’s been like this the whole regular season and now carrying into the Playoffs.EDIT: Dallas is 7-10 in games decided by 3 or less points in the regular season and Playoffs. I know they were a hell of a lot better than that last season. For whatever reason, they haven’t been able to execute late in games this year. I know earlier this season, Jason Terry was saying he should have the ball in his hands in the final seconds. I don’t know if that has anything to do with what’s been happening the whole year…BQ: Yes, definitely. Series isn’t over till Dallas loses at home.

by CANT STOP THE HEAT™ ☆WHITE HOT 2…:Think about it man. Thunder are young. At the end of the game, everyone plays their toughest defense, and the offense usually needs a guy or two to ISO and create their own shot.Creating your own shot, usually revolves around out pacing, running by, or crossing over your defender, using your speed to create a high % shot. The Thunder can do this easily…They are one of the fastest teams in the League. Dallas is getting old, Dirk has to take difficult step back shots, Jason kidd has to always take a contested shot, and the rest of the team simply is aging.Jason Terry is usually a good closer, but he got a really bad look at the end.
by DC™:SureI feel like the Mavericks SHOULD be up 2 games to none. Yes, I’m serious. But for the second straight game, they just could NOT come up with plays. Dirk missed a wide-open 3 pointer.Personally, the Thunder just made their free-throws down the stretch. Part of the reason also is that the game is in Oklahoma City and the crowd gets too loud that you just CAN’T hear or communicate with your teammates.BQ: Yes, they still CAN. They should be up 2 games to none. They remind me of the 1995 Rockets. They will keep on fighting until it’s over.DC
by Twins Rule:I agree. The Mavs looked really good tonight, but couldn’t find the means to finish the Thunder off. Nowitzki’s missed, wide-open three from the wing in the final minutes was a turning point. The Mavericks went downhill from there.BQ: Nah. Simply put, the Thunder are too good.
by richie:In this game, I thought the Mavs were given enough opportunities to win but they didn’t convert.Dirk had a wide open look beyond the arc, but missed. Terry committed a bad foul then missed 2 shots that would’ve sent the game to OT.
